Victorian Tea Fundraiser

Robin Plattenberger-Gilmore and Richard Gilmore graciously hosted a Victorian Tea Fundraiser at their home. Funds were raised through donations and an auction. Ed and Karen Chabal headed the auction team. A program on Civil War medicine was presented by Barb Duder; Michael Zahs spoke on Washington County history. Many volunteers helped with organizing and working the event.

The second annual "Step it Up for Democracy"
dinner and fundraiser was a success!

Our keynote speaker was Rita Hart, Iowa Democratic Party Chair. Senator Janice Weiner, leader of the Iowa Senate Democrats, addressed the crowd. Ed Chabal, 2024 State Senate candidate, and Anna Banowsky, 2024 State House candidate also spoke. The event emcee was Washington County Democrats Chair Sandra Johnson.

After an excellent meal, a live auction and country market added to the fun.
